Where Century Casino St. Albert sits
Century Casino St. Albert stands at 24 Boudreau Road, in Campbell Business Park just north of Anthony Henday Drive. It is a casino without a hotel. The building opened at this location in 1994 as the Apex Casino. Century Casinos took ownership on October 1, 2016, after a deal reported at CAD 27.9 million.
Ownership of the land changed in 2023. On September 6 that year, the real estate went to VICI Properties in a sale-leaseback covering Century's four Alberta properties. Century still operates the casino under a master lease. A separate deal, agreed on September 28, 2026, covers Century's two racetrack casinos and leaves St. Albert out. In this guide, the venue appears on the Edmonton area page.
On the floor and around it
- Machines and tables: 432 slot and electronic gaming machines and 10 tables, as of December 31, 2025. In Canada that machine count includes VLTs, short for video lottery terminals.
- Floor size: the casino floor covers about 12,951 sq ft inside a 34,500 sq ft building. A major renovation came in 2010, followed by various renovations in 2024 and exterior work in 2025.
- Poker: this guide does not list a poker room here. The AGLC directory shows which games each venue offers.
- Off-track betting: a parlour takes wagers on horse races. Off-track betting simply means betting on racing held at another track.
- Food and drink: a restaurant, a bar, and a sports bar and lounge share the building. A banquet facility handles events.
- Winner's Edge, AGLC's provincial program, is used at many Alberta casinos. Points come from carded play, meaning play with your loyalty card in use.
Before you go
Entry is for adults 18 or older. Staff must check valid government-issued photo ID for anyone who appears to be under 25, so carry a card with your picture on it. Opening hours for the casino floor and live tables are in the "Plan your visit" table beside the map. Holiday hours can differ, so check with the venue before you go. The AGLC directory at aglc.ca/gaming/casinos/find-casino-rec lists addresses, phones and games.
Parking is in surface lots around the building, with 585 spaces. Transit options are thinner, since StAT routes A12 Direct, A13 Direct and A32 serve Campbell Business Park on weekdays only. The weekend A32 skips the park. None of these routes run late at night, so check the schedules with St. Albert Transit (StAT) before relying on them.
